Welcome to the website for Mr Neil Roberts 

Neil Roberts is a consultant cardiac surgeon working at The Barts Heart Centre in the city of London. This centre was formed by the merger of cardiac surgery departments from St Bartholemews, The London Chest Hospital and The Heart Hospital in 2014

He has a special interest in coronary artery surgery, aortic valve surgery, aortic root surgery and surgery for aortic dissections.

He was also a TAVI specialist performing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) for treatment of aortic stenosis as part of the TAVI team at The Heart Hospital led by Dr Mike Mullen.

Mr Roberts has now performed more than 1000 open heart operations with excellent results and high levels of  patient satisfaction.

His private practice is based at The Harley Street Clinic, The Wellington Hospital and also at St Anthonys Hospital Cheam



Mr Roberts is also a fully trained medicolegal expert witness. He has extensive training with Bond solon, and has experence of report writing, along with giving oral evidence in court and being cross examined in court. Feedback from lawyers and barristers is very positive, and Mr Roberts is able to explain complex medical issues in easily understandable language both in his reports and in oral evidence.
